Recommended Daily Allowance Levels of Calcium Intake

Most food labels list calcium as a % of daily value (DV), rather than in milligrams (mg). They use a base daily value recommendation of 1,000 mg, so to find out how many milligrams of calcium are contained in a serving, add a 0 to the % DV, for example 10% DV becomes 100 mg of calcium.
